Lake Oil is a locally registered Oil Marketing Compay which was founded in the year 2005, and commenced its operations in March 2006. The company is a subsidiary of Azania Group of Companies. The head office is located at Plot, 8/1 Nyerere Road in Dar es Salaam.
The company currently imports and stores its products on hospitality basis with other Oil marketing companies in the country.
In October 2007, the company decided to move a step further by adding its line of lubricants and bitumen.

Our Forecast
The company is in the process of finalizing the buying of a depot in Dar es Salaam and also aims to contruct another depot in Tanga so as to ease the supply as well as to facilitate in accomodation of approximately 10 million kitres of assorted grades at any given time. The bridging of the product will be done by the companies own fleet of Scania and Iveco tanker trucks fitted with state of the art tracking equipment including GSM radio system on all vehicles. The vehicles will be maintained by highly qualified team of staff and will be periodically examined from time to time.
The vehicles will also be able to haul transit fuel to neighbouring countries.
The company intends to have its own filling stations in Dar es Salaam by the end of the year 2007 and later on to extend even to other regions.
